The National Narrowband Network Co (NNNCo) has been named a Finalist in the Innovation (SME) category of the 2018 ACOMM Awards.
The Innovation (SME) Award is for companies offering an innovative communications service or product to customers to drive industry growth.
NNNCo’s shortlisted entry centred on its N2N IoT Data Platform which was recently selected for deployment by Newcastle City Council as part of its industry-leading smart city program. The N2N Platform solves a key challenge of IoT via a Data Layer which decodes, decrypts and delivers data from any device or network and applies a common language to seamlessly integrate into any customer system or analytics / visualisation platform.
The ACOMM Awards recognise excellence in the wider communications industry, rewarding and profiling companies which have excelled within the industry around the nation, regardless of size, location, and whether service providers, vendors, or suppliers of professional services.
“One of the challenges with IoT is the complexity of receiving data from lots of different devices and applications and transforming that data into knowledge that supports decision making,” said NNNCo Founder and CEO, Rob Zagarella. “The N2N Platform enables enterprises and government to overcome this challenge and scale to infinite applications. We’re excited by its potential and extremely proud of the NNNCo team for what they’ve achieved,” he added.
Winners will be announced at the ACOMM Awards night and dinner on 29th August in Sydney.
