The IoT Sales Specialist role is crucial in driving sales and business development activities in the key verticals of Smart Utilities, Smart Agriculture, and Smart Industries.

Role:

  • Maintain and clearly communicate a strong pipeline that enables revenue targets to be overachieved.
  • Be the IoT market expert for the region, spotting and capitalising on trends.
  • Professionally represent NNNCo at IoT sales engagements across the region.
  • Develop and maintain a sales plan for the region with a focus on key verticals (Smart Utilities, Smart Industries and Smart Agriculture) and customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the company and work collaboratively to achieve sales targets.
  • Represent NNNCo at key IoT events.
  • Provide feedback to shape the product portfolio to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Develop and regularly communicate a strong understanding of all market and competitor forces in the region.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience with selling LoRaWAN or other IoT technologies would be highly desirable;
  • Technical understanding of the end-to-end solution stack (IoT Devices, Networks, Platforms, and Solution Providers) is highly preferred;
  • A strong pipeline of opportunities and contacts would be highly desirable;
  • Someone who can thrive in an early start environment;
  • A clear commercial mindset, constantly focusing on delivering value to customers;
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of literacy and numeracy;
  • Good co-worker who values building relationships internally and externally;
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to get complex messages across clearly and concisely;
  • Bid/tender management skills;
  • You treat the company as if it were your own.

The Bid Manager is crucial in driving the timely and professional delivery of Bid and Tender responses while collaborating with multiple stakeholders from within and outside the business. Experience in the key verticals of Utilities and Agriculture or experience with Asset Tracking technologies will be key to the success of this role.

Role:

  • Take ownership and manage the overall bid process.
  • Manage inputs from a variety of key stakeholders and Subject Matter Expert (SME) involved in bid responses.
  • Manage qualified bids through to contract award, which includes working with the bid team to develop the value proposition, win strategy, solution and pricing.
  • Managing all aspects of the bid, being the one that drives, orchestrates and assembles our response to customer tender requests; collaborate with all involved parties to ensure requirements are met and captured within the proposals.
  • Write compelling bid documentation, proposals and presentations that tie into the overall win theme of the bid.
  • Take ownership of the proposals to ensure bids are compliant and are submitted in a timely manner and to a high quality standard.
  • Work with our key partners in building a win-win strategy and proposal for our customers.

 

Skills & experience

  • Experience and confidence in a customer facing consulting or consultative pre sales role with strong presence and confidence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in the preparation of winning bids into Utilities or Government projects.
  • Experience in copywriting and building of proposal documentation and templates.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in either AgTech, Utilities or Asset Tracking industries.
  • Ability to understand defined business objectives and translate these into client requirements.
  • A self-starter who can thrive in an early start environment 
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in a busy environment and working under stress in emergencies, and demonstrating flexibility to handle pressure coming from all directions simultaneously.
