IoT Project and Operations Coordinator

The role of Project and Operations Coordinator is a customer-facing role where communications skills are key to success.
We are looking for an outgoing, energetic and highly organised individual to assist with the management of daily business activities and service delivery. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will assist with processes within the Operations group, project and service delivery as well as operations reporting. The Coordinator will work with the Operations group to deliver IoT projects and services and will support the Operations Manager on a day-to-day basis.  The candidate should have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to resolve complex situations efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of daily operational activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as system and process improvement with the assistance of the Operations Manager.
  • Service and project delivery.
  • Interact with customers.
  • Liaise and work with the Operations team on a day-to-day basis to ensure reliable operations.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors.
  • Assist with project management by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relations.
  • Manage budgets and prepare financial reports for senior management for customer services.
  • Prepare and maintain operations documents and reports.
  • Interact with the Sales, Accounts and Operations teams.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials and outcomes.
  • Understand formal escalation and review processes.
  • Provide support to project managers and business leaders when requested.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Project management certifications are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management software.
  • Preferred experience with Zoho.
  • Google Suite of applications experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer focus and attention to detail.
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in project or operations coordination or in project management.

Salary:

  • Salary for the role will vary depending on experience. Remuneration will be competitive and attractive to the successful candidate.

The IoT Sales Specialist role is crucial in driving sales and business development activities in the key verticals of Smart Utilities, Smart Agriculture, and Smart Industries.

Role:

  • Maintain and clearly communicate a strong pipeline that enables revenue targets to be overachieved.
  • Be the IoT market expert for the region, spotting and capitalising on trends.
  • Professionally represent NNNCo at IoT sales engagements across the region.
  • Develop and maintain a sales plan for the region with a focus on key verticals (Smart Utilities, Smart Industries and Smart Agriculture) and customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the company and work collaboratively to achieve sales targets.
  • Represent NNNCo at key IoT events.
  • Provide feedback to shape the product portfolio to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Develop and regularly communicate a strong understanding of all market and competitor forces in the region.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience with selling LoRaWAN or other IoT technologies would be highly desirable;
  • Technical understanding of the end-to-end solution stack (IoT Devices, Networks, Platforms, and Solution Providers) is highly preferred;
  • A strong pipeline of opportunities and contacts would be highly desirable;
  • Someone who can thrive in an early start environment;
  • A clear commercial mindset, constantly focusing on delivering value to customers;
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of literacy and numeracy;
  • Good co-worker who values building relationships internally and externally;
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to get complex messages across clearly and concisely;
  • Bid/tender management skills;
  • You treat the company as if it were your own.
