Sydney, Australia – May 2017

Here are some of NNNCo’s recent achievements and milestones reached over the past few months.

NNNCo granted a carrier licence
The Australian Communications and Media Authority granted NNNCo a carrier license in January 2017. This is a vital step towards our plans to build out open, shared IoT networks.

Expansion of Ergon Energy solution
In 2016, NNNCo began a demand management trial in Townsville with smart Demand Response Enabling Devices (DREDs) installed on hot water circuits. NNNCo met all of the joint milestones with Ergon Energy. We are now expanding the trial for a further 12 months and exploring multiple use cases for the network.

Best IoT Company for 2017
We were honoured to be named the Best IoT/M2M company at the 2017 CommsDay Edison Awards, which included nominees from industry heavyweights such as Vodafone and Telstra.

Smart Water LoRaWAN network trial
NNNCo was successful in an RFP to build a network across three water authorities in Victoria. This trial is currently in progress.

Strategic partnership with Actility
In March 2017 NNNCo signed a contract with Actility to supply large-scale LPWA infrastructure and core network server functionality. This is a key piece in the puzzle that will enable NNNCo to develop a national IoT network at scale.
