NNNCo has been named Best IoT/M2M Provider at the 2019 CommsDay Edison Awards in Sydney on 8th April. The category was contested by two other finalists, Telstra and Challenge Networks.
NNNCo Founder and CEO, Rob Zagarella, accepted the award on the night.
“We’re honoured to receive this recognition by the Edison Awards,” Mr Zagarella said. “2018 was an important year of scale and market enablement for us through significant technological advances, network deployments and solutions development that are not only growing the company but enabling the IoT ecosystem as a whole.”
The company was named Best IoT Provider on the basis of key achievements in 2018 which included:
• The build and release of the N2N-DL Data Platform. The company says the platform has the potential to transform the IoT market by enabling ecosystem players to build best-of-breed solutions to run over a common infrastructure
• Major Australian city network deployments including Newcastle, Gold Coast and Lake Macquarie where the new networks will form part of each city’s digital infrastructure and lay the groundwork for the development of a wide range of smart city applications
• An Australia-wide distribution deal with ASX-listed IT hardware, software and cloud distributor, Dicker Data. The deal provides distribution through Dicker Data’s 5,000-strong reseller network for NNNCo’s Enterprise IoT solutions which include globally-certified devices and the N2N-DL Data Platform
• Large-scale IoT network deployment for agriculture working in partnership with Goanna Ag to build a publicly available LoRaWAN IoT Network, managed by NNNCo, to bring smarter irrigation management solutions to Australian cotton growers.
